I am a graduate from the University of Adelaide, having studied a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Civil & Structural) with a Bachelor of Finance. In November of 2022, I was awarded the Geotechnical Engineering Group Ingenuity Presentation Prize for my honours project, which looked at "The Impact of Porewater Salinity on the Engineering Properties of Hindmarsh Clay". During the period of December 2021 to late February 2022, I was employed full time as an Undergraduate Engineer with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT), working as a part of the Land and Planning team within the North South Corridor Project Delivery Office (NSCPDO). While working at DIT, one of my key responsibilities were to develop a cash flow model for a series of projects, which looked at enhancing the quality of living through upgrading facilities and infrastructure. I also worked alongside Geotechnical Engineers where I was able to visit drill sites and observe soil logging using the visual-tactile method. I have now returned to DIT as a Graduate Engineer, working within the NSCPDO once again but as part of the Enabling Works team. In this team I am currently project managing and responsible for preparing and managing contracts, along with assisting in tender evaluations.
