My problem solving skills begin with 7 years experience working as a Red Seal automotive service technician where I solved mechanical, electrical and fluid systems issues. During my time working as an automotive service technician I was a team leader at a Honda dealership, where I dealt with troubleshooting issues that the other four technicians were experiencing, and also handled customer interactions.As a mechanical designer I've designed and developed a wide variety of custom engineered solutions to meet customer requirements and exceed their expectations. I have experience in custom component part design, sheet metal parts, weldments, and working with large assemblies. I have the experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Inventor. I have a solid grasp of engineering principles, and enjoy engineering analysis through application of the finite element method to validate designs through Finite Element Analysis (FEA) studies.
