I have been appointed as one of six BMT Fellows, worldwide. This position is in addition to my existing role as Water Quality Lead at TUFLOW. It is intended to recognise specialist expertise and thought leadership across BMT, and celebrate continuous development and innovation in creating outstanding results for our customers. Applying TUFLOW Catch to European conditions is one of my key tasks in this role.

In this role, I am responsible for the development, sale and support of TUFLOW's water quality model.

In this role I was responsible for developing and implementing BMT's global Innovation Strategy. I reported directly to the BMT Executive Committee in this role. I wrote, launched and implemented BMT's global Innovation Strategy.

In addition to my roles as Manager - Catchments and Receiving Environments, and a BMT WBM Associate, I filled the role of Technology and Innovation Manager for the BMT WBM Water and Environment Group (WEG). This role included a position on the WEG Management Board to facilitate direct interactions with both the Operations and Business Development Managers, and the WEG Managing Director. AS part of this role, I wrote and launched BMT WBM's first Innovation Strategy.

In addition to my role below, I was appointed to manage the Catchments and Receiving Environments discipline within the Brisbane Water and Environment Business Unit of BMT WBM. I was responsible for a group of approximately 5 engineers and scientists, in addition to carrying on my previous technical roles and responsibilities.During 2013 and approximately half of 2104, I was appointed to assist the Victorian Chief Scientist (water) under the Living Ballarat program.

In addition to the key work areas below, I was appointed as an Associate within the company.Other key works include:- Leading the Urban Water product development team within eWater CRC from 2005 to 2008- Working on and managing numerical modelling undertaken for the BHPBilliton Olympic Dam Expansion EIS (continued until 2011)- Working on and managing a detailed modelling study of the Red Sea for the National Prarn Company (NPC) in Saudi Arabia- Continued numerical modelling of environmental waterways- Continued work with Dr Peter Coombes on developing and applying a systems framework to examine the complete water cycle and economic performance of large scale urban and rural settings, e.g. Greater Sydney and Greater Melbourne

First employment following completion of my PhD. Key work areas included:- Multidimensional hydrodynamic and water quality numerical modelling of environmental waterways- Bubble plume diffuser analysis and design- Development of version 2 of the the NSW government Onsite Sewage Risk Assessment System (OSRAS)- Field work including management of a full scale experiment to examine the quality of stormwater generated from urban road surfaces- Collaborative work with Dr Peter Coombes on developing and applying a systems framework to examine the complete water cycle and economic performance of large scale urban and rural settings, e.g. Greater Sydney and Greater Melbourne

This role included co-delivery of a new and innovative undergraduate courses in environmental modelling. This role is in addition my role at BMT, where I remained employed on a permanent full time basis.

PhD Student in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics group under Professor Greg Ivey and Professor Kraig Winters. Thesis title: "Mixing in Stratified Turbulence".Papers published in Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Experiments in Fluids.

Contaminated site remediation work, including assistance with the initial investigations into the remediation of the are on the western banks of Homebush Bay.

Completed joint degree in Science (Chemistry) and Environmental Engineering (1st Class Honours).

I was a vacation student working summer holidays over this period. I assisted in groundwater and site contamination studies by undertaking field work, basic spreadsheet analyses and laboratory tests
