Oversee operations of specialty service lines, rural health and urgent care, implement strategic initiatives, operationalize new business ventures, facilitate new service line development, project management, and strategic planning. Report to COO.

Initiates contact with managed care, follows up with employers to maintain working relationships with contractors Develops, maintains and promotes managed care programs Develops and enhances relationships with insurance companies, managed care organizations (MCO’s), self insured companies Provides input in development of the hospital’s strategic and marketing plan, implements elements Develop and oversee Business Development plan, including key elements of Marketing/Advertising, Public and Professional relations Develops managed care contracting sales leads, involves physicians Works collaboratively with the hospital team to develop primary care relationships Recommends changes in procedures, facilities, and services which will contribute to increased utilization and efficiencies Provides monthly Managed Care updates, focusing on results, opportunities, problems and upcoming activities Conducts training, seminars, and participates in Trade programs
