Investment Operations Analyst
CurrentI am currently an operations analyst for Voya Investment Managements with the Business Support and Operations Team. Our team handles cash monitoring and reporting, wire transfers, shareholder recordkeeping, sourcing oversight, data management, and business support. We work with many teams on new clients and portfolios such as Client Services, Voya Funds, Retirement Services, and the Portfolio Managers. As a member of the Cash Reporting team, I specifically focus on the cash for over 600 accounts including Equity Funds, Fixed Income Funds, Foreign Currency Accounts, and Currencies. We are responsible for reviewing and reporting to the front office each morning before the market opens. We report and handle long term and short term cash. In addition to that, we report equity and fixed income cash. We are also responsible for overseeing, approving, and assisting with any questions or issues the BNY Mellon (Outsourced group of approximately 10 people at BNY Mellon are responsible for SGA Accounting Cash) team may have. We receive cash from multiple sources which need to be reconciled on a daily basis. In my role, I am responsible for validating cash flows via the National Securities Clearing Corporation, subscriptions and redemptions into underlying funds for Fund of Fund products, and clients providing cash flows via email notifications. I also oversee Target Trust Series, Trust (Non Fund of Fund's), Stable Value, and Advisory cash flows throughout the day.
