- Developed real-time data visualizations for the company's proprietary sensors for demos and marketing at trade shows using Java (Android)The first time I got paid to write code!Less crucially (but cool to me), the company was trying to transmit the sensor data using an outdated Arduino Bluetooth shield, but the shield's companion mobile app was failing to read the data. I ended up decompiling the Android apk and reverse engineering the problem (which was probably just making the changes necessary to migrate to a newer Android API version...). In retrospect, the company could have purchased an updated Bluetooth shield for ~$20, but then I wouldn't have had this experience!
