Human Resources Specialist
CurrentResponsible for providing technical advice and guidance regarding a wide variety of military HR programs that include Officer, Enlisted strength management; personnel readiness; retention; awards; evaluations; separations; personnel actions. •Assist in processing OERs in the Evaluation Entry System (EES) and processing NCOERs for all active and reserve component Soldier assigned to NGIC for accuracy and timeliness to INSCOM and HQDA. •Prepare and present reports and briefings on administrative actions and recommend action to key staff elements, directors, Command Sergeant Major and the Brigade Commander.•Writes instructions to announce & implement procedures on diverse & complex military personnel management programs. •Strength Manager responsible for submitting and monitoring all requisitions, pinpointing assignments, providing recommendations on all assignment/reassignment actions, officer command strength. •Maintains data base. •Performs queries through available resources (reports, historical files, data bases, TOPMIS & EDAS). •Upon arrival and departure of military personnel to the Brigade, coordinates with the supporting military personnel activity to assist by reporting functions and financial matters. •Monitors and manages military personnel aspects of reshape actions and restructure initiatives impacting officer strength, developing officer personnel management policies affecting the command. •Correlates the current and future approved authorizations and assigned strength into management processes for monthly strength reports. •Coordinates. Work well with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Key Accomplishments:•Established a reputation as a functional expert in managing personnel strength, evaluations, customer service, and organizational database.•Skillfully determined and dealt with diverse administrative issues.•Processed and submitted over 300 NCOERs to HQDA and only had one reported late.
