-Organized 30th year of the Rouge Rescue program. Which is one of the largest river clean ups in the Nation. -Assist with the coordination and implementation of Rouge Rescue and grant funded invasive plant species projects. -Conducted invasive species surveying, identification and removal.-Responsible for event planning, communicating with volunteers and FOTR team members, processing supply requests, data entry, participating in and facilitating invasive plant removal workdays as well as promoting the mission and work of Friends of the Rouge.

-Helped students and faculty with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS), printing, scanning and large format plotting. -Providing lab users with advice and guidance in resolving data management and analysis problems. -Collaborating with GAM faculty to provide lab support in conjunction with course lesson plans.

-Coordinated tree plantings throughout the city of Detroit with fellow crew members. I assisted the training and supervision of volunteers at each event. It was a great opportunity to engage with local Detroit residents and show them we care about the city.
