As Practice Leader of Landscape Architecture, Michael is in charge of the day-to-day management and leadership of Stewart’s landscape architecture practice and serves as the director of design for the Studio. Michael is a landscape architect with experience in a range of project scopes, from master planning to detailed design. He utilizes a strategic design approach and an awareness of sustainable principles to create spaces and places that balance the needs of the users, clients and the environment

I am currently in charge of the day-to-day management of most major projects in our Durham headquarters ranging from residential master planning projects to healthcare projects to environmental graphics projects.I currently oversee a multidisciplinary team comprised of our landscape architects and civil engineers who pride themselves on creative design-based solutions for our projects.

At EDSA, i was actively involved in the design and project management for international resort projects in more than 13 different countries.
