As a member of the Office for Mission and Ministry, I worked with the Chaplain and the Coordinator for Liturgy to promote the spiritual well-being and formation of the MMU community. I was in charge of the recruitment, supervision, and formation of Campus Ministry Work-Study students and of our Mount Mercy Residential Peer Ministers. I provided programming and accompaniment aimed at fostering students' awareness of and engagement in the Catholic and Mercy identity of the institution, along with equipping them with tools to do so well after their time at the University has come to an end.

Worked as contact person in the Office of Campus Ministry for all retreats--location, numbers, facilities, dates, and most other information to put into a drafted contract went through me. Invited and formed student retreat teams. Accompanied retreat student leaders in their formation of retreat schedule and activities, themes, advertising, and most notably as they crafted talks and witnesses for retreats. Supervised student peer ministers on a weekly basis. Counseled leaders of several student organizations affiliated with athlete spirituality and men's spirituality. Attended most student retreats done through or affiliated with CUA Campus Ministry.

Worked as one of two assistant rectors in Carroll Residence Hall. Ministered to the young men of the dorm through presence at events, in the hall, at meals. Supervised Resident Assistants when on duty, serving as enforcer, decision-maker, liaison between students and Campus Safety, Health Services, University Counseling Center, and the rector. Assisted the Carroll Hall Mass Band in their Sunday duties at Carroll Hall Mass through musical accompaniment, piano and vocal. Conversed and planned with the liturgical commissioner and liturgical music coordinator to address issues of attendance, hospitality, and creating a prayerful environment. Monitored and oversaw the carrying out of the hall’s signature event, “A Carroll Christmas.” Interviewed prospective resident assistants and assisted in the selection process. Served as representative of Carroll Hall for prospective Assistant Rectors for the 14-15 academic year. Organized Lenten Friday prayer services and simple suppers.

Retrieved, arranged, and delivered lab reports to physicians. Mailed and filed copies of signed lab reports, prescriptions, and other physician-patient communication. Recorded and delivered phone messages to physicians and medical assistants. Pulled and filed charts for office needs. Retrieved, sorted, and delivered mail.

Oversaw execution of 14-16 year-old boys’ daily chores. Supervised boys in afternoon workshops and grounds maintenance. Tutored boys in mathematics, religion, and English homework assignments. Assisted Hall Director and Co-Hall Director in disciplinary decisions. Accompanist and chaperone for singers at annual Festi-Asís (2009). Accompanist for organization-wide Sunday Masses. Recorded trimester grades for students and highlighted problematic or failing subjects for hall directors’ and director’s review of students’ performance. Organized and executed 1st Annual Talent Show together with other CapCorps Volunteers: Coordinated volunteers, sold concessions, acquired prizes, coached vocalists. Oriented and translated for new international volunteers. Managed receipts and medical expenses.
