Everything is always composed, recorded and produced with a lot of love for the music.--Started out as founder of the RAINBIRDS in 1986, they had two No.1 Albums and a Europe-wide hit single (Blueprint). After this success he founded DEPP JONES together with Bela B. from „Die Ärzte“ (one of the most successful Bands in Germany) and since 1992 he has worked as a producer, specializing in guitar orientated sounds and songs, mixed with modern electronic elements. He started working for Commercials in 1994 with a C&A Spot ” Wild for you” which was also released as a single. He has completed more than 30 TV-Commercials, Movie Trailers, Internet and Radio Jingles.He has produced several chart successes, such as Extrabreit and KEIMZEIT. Since 2000 he has been working as an executive producer for Film- and Tv-projects and for several movies such as “Vergiss America”, “Dancing with myself” where he also composed the score. He also writes/produces songs for movies such as “Wer wenn nicht wir”, directed by Andres Veiel, “Resturlaub”, directed by Gregor Schnitzler. He did the score for “Türkisch für Anfänger” and did “Fack ju Göthe” and “Fack ju tu” with Bora Dagetkin, the two most successful German movies of the last fifteen years.Other projects are “3 Türken und ein Baby” and “Macho Man” and recently write songs for the digital remastered version of Wim Wenders Movie. “The Goalkeeper’s Fear of Penalty“ für the Wim Wenders Foundation.
