I help to perform periodic cleaning duties of many school facilities such as classrooms, outdoor seating areas and bathrooms. To do this, I use equipment such as mops, brooms, spray bottles, toilet cleaner chemicals gloves and vacuum cleaners to tidy up eating areas and bins. I also check and replace supplies like spray bottles and bin liners for future use on the school site.An achievement that I'm proud of was that I was able to clean all the toilets and floors of the male and female bathrooms on my own in one shift.

As a Screening Station Administration Officer, I was responsible for staffing the entrances of the hospital and evaluating the entry of visitors, patients, staff and contractors into the hospital in response to the COVID-19 crisis. My key responsibilities include asking staff, visitors and patients entering the hospital to check in and show evidence that they have got 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, then ask a series of questions (e.g. have you been deemed a close or a casual contact by the NSW Government?). If they pass the screening, they are let through. In addition, I am also responsible for maintaining work health and safety requirements as stated by NSW Health. I have gained experience in the correct use of PPE and encouraging others to do the same in a hospital setting. I have learned to prioritise my workload and maintain safety and also was exposed to challenging behaviours that needed to be de-escalated in a calm manner.
