Attending initial site visits where required, to ascertain SHEQ issues specific to the contract.Attending the start –up, safety coordination, and progress meetings, and advising on SHEQ issues .Liaising with the SHEQ Manager to advise on adequate training relating to SHEQ for the contract before and after commencing duties with the company.Monitor the effectiveness of SHEQ training given. Carrying out regular audits on site, to monitor compliance with the safety management systems and statutory requirements. The results of which shall be recorded and reported back to the contract Manager SHEQ Manager and supervisor. Undertaking recorded sensible monitoring checks to ensure instruction for correct working methods are been compiled with, relating to SHEQ requirements. Ensuring that all defects, unsafe acts, incidents and dangerous occurrences are brought to the attention of the contract manager/SHEQ manager. Ensuring statutory and other inspections/examinations are kept up to date and recorded.
