As Founder and CEO of Versetal, I created this business more than ten years ago with the goal of building out agile software delivery programs that can scale horizontally across an organization's IT, Service Desk, Database, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. We do this by using a diverse portfolio of global team members that can innovate for our clients with the same R&D method & curiosity as a scientist, but within a structured framework using project management office controls. Versetal has quickly grown from an idea to a global organization with offices in Boston, MA., Atlanta, GA., and Delhi, India. Previous to starting my own business, I worked for various organizations as an enterprise architect working my way up to several leadership roles, where I was focused on advisory consulting services encompassing IT Operations Strategy, Global Release Management and Process engineering, Product management, Business Process automation, Complex Database Migrations including Cross Platform Systems and ERP, Data Warehouse and Big Data appliances, Software development, Database Application Virtualization and Cloud enablement, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Open Source technology, Hadoop Clusters, Software-as-a-Service, Managed Services and IT Outsourcing. As CTO and EVP, I obtained extensive experience building out a large global MSP and consulting practice focused on Oracle, Microsoft, and SAP applications management. Under his leadership the practice was internationally recognized for its project delivery capabilities and received Oracle Titan awards in the areas of High Availability and Grid Computing. Recently, I have joined Boston University as an advisory board member for their Bioengineering Technology & Entrepreneurship Center. I teach Enterprise Architecture as a facilitator within their Computer Science Graduate program.I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, both of which are from Boston University. During my time in graduate studies, I also received a professional certification in Software Engineering, Project Management, and Client/Server Architectures. I am also an Oracle Certified Professional and Master DBA.
