Michael is a former Senior Partner from McKinsey & Co (1989-2021), and now works as a Board Member or Advisor for multiple technology companies. He currently serves as: - Non-Executive Chairman of Hexaware Technologies (a Carlyle-backed Company) - Member of Itau-Unibanco's Digital Advisory BoardAt McKinsey, over 32 years, Michael served companies across multiple industries; and was the Founder and Former Global Leader of McKinsey Digital (2014-2019). McKinsey Digital is McKinsey's global practice that drives Digital Transformation, Advanced Analytics, Core Technology Modernization, and "Business-building". Before that, he ran McKinsey's Business Technology Office in North America from 2008 through 2014.With McKinsey, he worked with Fortune 1000 companies across industries, PE Firms, and selected PE-backed private companies on their most critical strategy, organization, and technology issues, including setting digital and analytics strategy, using data for competitive advantage, remodeling the IT environment to support digital innovation. He also worked closely with software companies, IT services providers, and other tech solutions providers to help them shape their own strategies and improve performance.In firm leadership, Michael served on most of McKinsey's senior people committees and on McKinsey's Global Client Council and later co-led McKinsey's alliance with Microsoft to help create value from Azure Cloud OfferingsPrior to joining McKinsey, worked with Oliver Wyman, a New York-based consulting firm focused on financial institutions.
