I have worked on a range of equipment from roof top air handler units, chillers and cooling towers, boilers and steam systems, fume hoods and lab/Operating Room pressurization controls, individual room controls such as Variable Air Volume boxes and baseboard radiations and Fan Coil units. I have worked in universities, colleges, research facilities and office building across the Maritimes and have great customer service and communication skills. I also have a basic understanding of different networking protocols such as Bacnet/MSTP and Bacnet/IP, as well as understanding ofmac and IP addresses.Over the 2 years working in the supervisor role I have had the oppurtunity to connect and mentor a small but growing team of technicians by working with them to develop growth paths and training trajectory, with a focus on their future goals. I also reveiw and approve business expense reports, vacations, PPE inspections, and pre-post job hazard assesments for each technicians. I am also currently part of a board of north american supervisors in company with the purpose of improving business standards and improving quality of worklife for technicians in the field.I am particularly interested in smart infrastructure and energy savings that would help both consumer save money and reduce carbon footprints and I am excited to see what possibilities arise in those areas as the world moves towards digitalization and new technologies emerge.
