I work for the MA branch of the company. The headquarters are in S. Burlington, VT and our branch is a division of the Manchester, NH branch. My duties include maintaining and troubleshooting the building management systems for my customers' buildings and facilities. I work directly with the IT departments of our customers to ensure secure access to the building management system. I program and write the logic for these building management systems using Tridium, Microsoft Visio and Johnson Controls GX 9100 and Metasys tools suite. The control brands that we work on are Alerton, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Reliable and Automated Logic. We connect the devices and controllers of the various controls systems on N2, BacNet and Lon. I will remotely access customer sites via VPN in order to quickly troubleshoot any building issues. I also install, commission and troubleshoot the control systems and all sensors associated to ensure that our customer sites meet the highest efficiency standards. I am responsible for many LEED Certified buildings and critical buildings which include schools, hospitals, concert halls, laboratories and municipalities. I also maintain, install and repair all mechanical systems on these sites as well, or where our contracts cover that work. The mechanical systems would include Uni vents, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Large RTUs, Large Boilers ( HW and Steam ), Exhaust Hoods, Make up Air Units, Liebert and other data units, etc. I work independently, unless a large project or installation requires more people. I deal with the customers on a personal level and field their email and calls to better serve their needs. I am on call as part of a rotating schedule.

My duties include the troubleshooting and maintenance of all equipment in my section of the hospital. That includes Fume Hoods, Isolation Room Controls, DDC Controls, Pneumatic Controls, Repacking and repairing both Steam and Chilled Water Valves, Ice Machines, Refrigerators, Freezers, Chillers and Large Air Handling Equipment. I am required to do repairs and maintenance in accordance with JCAHO standards. This includes Fire and Smoke Damper Testing, Using Containment while working in sensitive patient areas and sanitizing Food and Ice Equipment in accordance to those standards. The Main Patient Tower is my area of coverage and that area includes many Isolation Rooms, Operating Rooms, MRI Procedure Rooms and Kitchen and Cafeteria areas. I also assess equipment operation and monitor their efficiency in accordance with the hospital's Green Initiative.

My duties include troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. Our customer base is mostly commercial, i.e., Office buildings, Medical facilities and Technology firms. Some of my experience with equipment includes Chillers, Cooling Towers, VAV and Fan Terminal boxes, Heat Pumps ( Water and Air to Air ), Commercial Roof Top Package Units, Boilers, Furnaces, Server room units, Mitsubishi Citi Multi VRF systems, A/C systems ( Ranging from Ductless split systems to Large Commercial ), Refrigeration, i.e., Walk-Ins, beer coolers, freezers, Controls ( pneumatic and ddc ), Oil and Gas fired steam, hydronic and air systems. I perform the installation of new equipment, including piping and controls. I also assess customer equipment and make suggestions of retrofitting to higher efficient equipment. I cover the on-call emergency shift on a rotating basis.

As a contractor at the V.A. Hospital, my duties included troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all equipment on the grounds. We were in-house contractors for the hospital and I was stationary there. Some of the equipment I maintained and serviced included Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Handlers, VAV and Fan Terminal boxes, DDC and Pneumatic controls, Andover Controls building automation, Refrigeration, i.e., Walk-Ins, Freezers, Medical equipment, Exhaust fans and Pumps. I was a member of a three man crew that maintained and serviced the five buildings on site, including the two Chiller plants.
