Create/Modify/Delete network security accounts for Hospital Staff and contractor personnel. Assist Project Managers with creating new or modified accounts as needed. Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a variety of software security requirements. Over 200+ separate software related accounts. Other duties as assigned.

In charge of 10-20+ Desktop Technicians* in support of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Supported 17 Presbyterian clinics/hospitals throughout the state of New Mexico. Responsible for over 9000 company owned computer equipment maintaining/replacing or repairing various types of computer hardware. Responsible for ensuring licensed software was properly accounted and paid for by various healthcare and non-healthcare. Evaluated and counselled personnel as needed. Project coordinated for a number of projects from infancy to conclusion working with several different Project Managers and outside software vendors. Other duties as assigned.* Number of techs varied because of temporary techs required and hired for various projects.

Responsible for building, adding software and repairing work desktop computers for 1500 + contractor and full time employees. Worked closely with project managers to ensure equipment was built properly with all software licenses paid for and installed. General "soft" training of clinical technicians, nurses and physicians throughout the organization ensuring "customers" felt as they were assisted and not demeaned. I very customer service type of job knowing that they all are healthcare professionals, not computer operators. A good fit since returning to civilian life.

Responsible for telephonic support of software installations or functions of the QuickBooks product. 60 day training which I was second highest grade in the class overall and highest grade in the class for the technical installation and troubleshooting, removing and repairing of the software product itself. Chosen as one of 13 technicians out of 120+ to full time positions to make the final Albuquerque QuickBooks support team. Selected to relocate to Tucson Arizona when the company lost it's lease on the building they were using. I declined the position due to personal reasons.

IT Communications for ship-to-shore, ship-to-ship, shore-to-shore via Secure Channels. Create/Modify/Delete and maintenance of security communications key material. Communications using secure Teletype (TTY), and various mainframe communications systems. Retired as an E-6 and the Leading Petty Officer of 180+ subordinates.
