My name is Micheal Bevington, and I recently graduated from John Carroll University with a major in Finance and minors in Leadership Development & Business Analytics. I am currently working in Sumter, SC, as a participant in Eaton’s Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). In this role, I engage in diverse rotational assignments across finance functions such as operations accounting, financial planning & analysis, and internal auditing. This program provides me with hands-on experience, leadership training, and global exposure, preparing me to become a future finance leader at Eaton.During my time at John Carroll University, I was deeply involved in campus life. I served as a M.E.L.T. Peer Mentor for Underrepresented First-years, was a student-athlete on the Men’s Lacrosse team, and led a Carroll Faith Community, a faith-based small group. I was also part of the Boler Professional Development Program and worked towards certification on Bloomberg Terminals.I was honored to receive the Outstanding Student Leadership Award, which recognizes students who have positively impacted campus culture through their leadership and involvement. This award was given to only two people in my class, and I was fortunate to be one of the recipients.
