I worked alongside the corporate controller and accounting department, completing a number of projects regarding accounts receivable and inventory write-offs, outstanding accounts payable balances, customer credit profiles, freight expenses, and general ledger accounts. In addition to some of my office responsibilities, I helped manage processes in the distribution center where I conducted audits of physical inventory and equipment conditions. Through the various responsibilities I had at this position, I was able to greatly improve my Excel capabilities while being exposed to the office environment I anticipate working in.

As one of my summer jobs before starting internships, I was assigned to a variety of labor jobs involving quality control, landscaping, party tent preparation, and warehouse unloading.

This position was my first summer job as an undergraduate at Bentley University. I worked with a crew of four college students, and we all served as painters and home improvement workers.

As a freshman in high school, I began my first job at our family dealership where I helped process and maintain records for all service department bills including payments and purchase orders in addition to handling the reception for all employees of the dealership. My experience working on weekends and over the summer helped build communication skills and interpersonal relations by getting to work firsthand with customers and also gave me my first exposure to the financial operations of a business.
