I am a dedicated Registered Nurse currently working in the Neuro ICU at LBJ Hospital, with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care in critical care settings. My background includes diverse experience in the IMU/Med-Surg unit, where I provided direct patient care and contributed to evidence-based practice initiatives. I began my nursing journey as a Nurse Tech at Harris Health Ben Taub, where I honed my skills in basic patient care, quickly responding to behavioral changes. I hold an Associate Degree in Nursing from Houston Community College and am currently pursuing my BSN at UTHealth, with an anticipated graduation in December 2024.Before transitioning into nursing, I developed strong leadership and communication skills during my years in management at Westmount Enterprise, where I supervised teams, handled customer service, and managed inventory. Additionally, my time as Lead Cook at Ikea taught me the importance of attention to detail and time management. These experiences have shaped my ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining patient safety and comfort. My long-term goal is to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Outside of work, I balance my professional life with raising two children and staying active in the community.
