Responsible for the planned maintenance of the 2 stothert and Pitt OS200 cranes on the platform to keep the cranes available to the client at all times keeping downtime to an absolute minimum while working to all applicable Heath and Safety procedures and guidlines. Record all faults and repairs performed on Maximo database. Perform any decklifts required.

Responsible for the maintenance and planning of unplanned maintenance of the three hydralift pedestal crane on board the instalation. Completing all routime PMRs and recording defects and breakdowns on the Unisol Sap data base so they can be rectified in a timely manner to keep the cranes working efficiently to service the needs of the asset.

North Sea And Worldwide

Fly to various offshore location as part of a team or alone and perform maintanance on the platforms cranes. Pump replacement, motor changeouts, new hoist ropes, hoist drum and gear box replacement, total crane repalcement or and repair broken down cranes.

Perform planned preventative maintenence on our fleet of crane. Fault find on breakdown and relplace or fix and parts that where broken so the crane could work as required. I also had to fill in all service documentation according to the servicing requirments or the crane manufacturer.

Stanlow Oil terminal/ Stockport Depot

Complete maintance on cranes as part of learning this trade aswell as attending collage to learn mechanical theory and pass the assessments required to achive my NVQ level 3 in plant maintenance.
