As the Operations Director for the Americas, of American Fuji Technical Services, I have full P&L Responsibility for this 55MM company. One of my key achievements at AFTS resulted in an increase in sales from 32MM to 55MM over 2 years, with an EBITA gain from 11% to 13%. Previously to joining AFTS, I was promoted from Production Manager to Technical Director of Manufacturing Engineering with Georg Utz Inc., a leader in reusable plastic packaging. I managed all aspects of this Manufacturing Facility and developed a new manufacturing plant in Mexico. In addition, I created an apprenticeship program for Injection Molding Process Technicians.I also have significant international experience from Lexmark International. At Lexmark I held the position of Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, where I managed the sourcing, manufacturing, and training of Engineers in China and the Philippines. I’ve honed my skills in Lean over the years and earned the distinction of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, while with Lockheed Martin as a Manufacturing Supervisor. After graduating with a BS from Ball State in Manufacturing Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Plastics, I became a Computerized Logistics Specialist for the US Army, and received the Army Commendation Medal for assisting with the conversion from a manual to computerized supply system for the entire battalion.
