My current practice is dominated by Commercial Real Estate brokerage and leasing, as well as development and re-development, joint-venture, and asset management, as well as business brokerage for businesses of $500,000 and up. Created and developing the COMMERCIAL DIVISION for Commercial and Business Brokeage within the Berkshire Hathaway HS | Ambassador Real Estate brokerage operations as the Commercial / Business Brokerage Division Manager. My motto: I am a 'Matchmaker' helping people and companies find the right 'match' for their needs. I represent sellers & landlords, as well as buyers and tenants. Some properties and business entities are never 'listed' on the open markets.Background included my CLU designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA, with Graduate classes in Insurance, Federal Taxation, Estate Planning, Employee Benefits design and implementation, including group insurance, pension planning, profit-sharing, 401k, and all other employee benefits. Financial Planning became the focus and successful results until an offer to enter into banking presented itself.Moved to the banking industry for two years in a small town bank, during which time I learned everything about how banks function and what makes them work, including residential and commercial lending, statutory bank regulatory reporting and requirements.Owned/operated an independent insurance agency in Iowa, shortly added real estate, and found that real estate was my chosen field. Within 2 years our small company had 80% of the commercial and residential real estate business, with 5 other companies dividing up the remaining 20%.Currently serve on the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Greater Omaha Area Board of Realtors; Vice-Chair of the Midlands Regional Commercial Information Exchange (MRCIE); Member Governmental Affairs Committee, Fair Housing Committee, Nebraska Association of Realtors (NAR)Reside in Omaha, NE.
