Michael has for over the last 50 years been on the “bleeding edge” of innovative technology, specifically in software and electronics development. His efforts have blended together both of these disciplines, creating complex solutions for NASA, the military weapons defense, Bell Labs, Large Super Computers, Air Traffic Control systems, Process Automation, and Artificial Intelligence, to name a few. He tried retiring in 1990, but within a year he started his ninth technology company, Palladium Technologies. At the same time he was designing and building an ultra-light displacement offshore sailing yacht, which while logging over 26,000 NM offshore, became the test platform for the creation of SiMON (Alarm, Monitoring and Control), which is the flagship product of Palladium. Palladium also specializes in the full technology integration and automation on the world’s largest yachts, with products that include; SiMON and its award winning applications of iSiMON and Simon2, Titan (Switchboards), Lighting Control, AV - Entertainment, Security, IT, etc.. Michael has been able to combine his two passions of the sea and technology by providing advanced total technology solutions to the unique large yacht customers. His area of expertise includes software and electronics development, robotics, automated logistic, industrial automation, artificial intelligence, hybrid technology systems, security systems, electronic power generation and management. He is a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers and the Society of Marine Surveyors, along with being a founding member of The International SeaKeepers Society.
