OverviewThis role oversees Assetlink Services Security Operational (Guarding Services) Nationally. The role is responsible for the oversight and consistent delivery of high quality security outcomes for all applicable contracts nationally. The role works closely with the State Managers, Client Relationship Managers, Service Delivery Managers and Security Services Managers. The role is part of the Assetlink Services Leadership Team and reports directly to the Head of Assetlink Services.Primary Objectives• Develop and implement consistent security services deliverables.• Ensure regulatory compliance for Security related services• Oversee and drive compliance to national Assetlink standards• Mentor, advise and develop the security team nationally• Drive security related initiatives in line with Assetlink strategy.• Drive additional revenue opportunities with existing and potential clients

Long Bay Forensic Hospital

The Forensic Hospital is an integral part of the Forensic Mental Health Network and commenced operation in November 2008. The Forensic Hospital is a stand-alone high secure mental health facility located in Malabar and is the first of its kind in NSWReporting to Managing Director – Care and Justice, the Security Operations Manager has full site autonomy including full P&L responsibility, staffing and general management requirements for 18 full time and 4 casual staff.

The Operations Management role for SNP Security Limited at Sydney Airport has joint reporting responsibilities and accountability to the General Manager – SNP Security Aviation, as well as to the Security Manager for Sydney Airport Corporation (SACL).Seven (7) Direct Reports, four (4) Operational Business Unit Managers and three (3) Day of Operations Managers and achievements to date include:Achievements Managed over 800 operational staff at Sydney Airport reducing absenteeism and overtime costs whilst increasing global customer satisfaction indexes measured though Sweeny customer satisfaction surveys to Top 12 Airport (by size) in the world, up from 17th position in the past 2 years.  Successfully redesigned the Operational Service Delivery Standards in Security & Customer Service which saw a decrease of customer complaints by over 50%.  Introduction of Performance Based Objectives and Culture which saw the bottom 20% of staff exit the business and the introduction of performance measures and objectives for all operational management staff, which link directly to bonus payments. Delivered services within budget for FY2009/10 and FY2010/11 during a period of major change and tight budgetary controls. Increased Financial Profitability, including exceeding the divisional contribution targets, with Aviation being the only operating division within SNP security to meet targets 2 years running.

Sydney Airport

 Completed a comprehensive departmental restructure, enabling and empowering the sixteen (16) member team to better achieve and exceed internal and external stakeholder requirements. Successful Provision of Training Support Services to 900+ staff. Met contractual KPI’s upon taking over the role. KPI’s had not been met for previous 3 years of the contract. Led change management initiatives across the business as part of “Professional Security with Service and Integrity” Developed and Led New Assessment Centers as part of a Revised Recruitment Strategy  Redesigned all Induction and Recurrent Training Solutions, workbooks and learning materials Redesigned all assessment criteria to align with AQTF standards
