I have worked through all levels of construction, commissioning and commercial operations. During my 30+ years of experience I've moved through different levels of Management, Safety and Training, Emergency Response, Operations and Maintenance. Plant ManagerConstellation Energy Apr 2005 - Jun 2009Managed a $10mm O/M budget with gross revenues of $28 million and a 23 person staff. The management team coordinated the Safe and Environmentally sound operation of the 53 mw waste coal facility with a Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boiler. We owned and managed the mining operations at two waste coal tailings piles and numerous other business contracts. During this period we were able to increase the capacity factors to contract maximum levels and reduce firing rates at the same time. This also lead to a significant reduction in commodity costs and reduced forced outages. At this facility, we won the Presidents award for Safety and for Environmental Achievement. -
Production ManagerConstellation Energy May 1998 - Apr 2005Constellation Energy Rio Bravo Poso / Production Manager 1998 to 2005Responsibilities include a $3.7 mm budget, revenues at $14 mm and 12 operators. I coordinated the operations group and the 30 mw CFB coal and petroleum coke fired unit. I was instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the stellar Safety record, winning the President's award for Safety.

Harper Lake / Production Assurance SpecialistFlorida Power And Light Jan 1997 - Jan 1998I was selected as a Production Assurance Specialist by FPL representatives after they took over operations at Harper Lake SEGS VIII and IX, the Solar Electric Generating Stations (SEGS). My responsibilities included assisting troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining Turbines, steam systems and Safety Programs at Harper Lake and other facilities.

Harper Lake / Manager Of Safety And TrainingConstellation Operating Services Jan 1992 - Jan 1997I was selected as the Training Coordinator at the Harper Lake facility from my Operations Foreman position when Constellation took over operation of these two, 80mw SEGS facilities. I was quickly promoted to Manager of Safety and Training and was able to participate in the transformation of these profitable but regulatory and accident plagued projects. At this facility I also assisted as Operations Foreman in the Start up of both SEGS VIII and IX. After some development, the team at Harper Lake won the Presidents award for Safety multiple years.

I was promoted to the start-up foreman of electronics during the start-up of SEGS II. After start-up I was transferred into operations and I was later selected as the Operations Foreman for SEGS II, a 30 mw Solar/natural gas/ oil fired unit.
