CurrentLeading Human Factors Engineering efforts across both hardware and software projects in design and development of cardiovascular devices within Philips Image Guided Therapy group. Responsible for Usability deliverables including Task Analysis, Use Scenarios, User Requirements, Use FMEA, Heuristic Review. Driving user research activities including Formative research and Summative+Validation testing. Led successful Summative+Validation studies for several now-commercialized products, including Philips IntraSight Mobile and Reconnaissance PV .018 IVUS Catheter. Fully owned test protocols, testing execution, and creation of reports and Usability Engineering File for submission & approval from regulatory bodies. Responsible for user interface improvements and usability specifications across software and hardware projects to mitigate use errors and improve overall usability.Recipient of 2021 Philips Value Award for exceptional contributions to prioritize user-centered design and deliver innovative solutions. Trained and coached junior Human Factors Engineers across business unit to execute HFE methods and deliverables.Expert knowledge of current regulations and best practices including IEC 62366, FDA Applying Human Factors and Usability Engineering to Medical Devices, AAMI HE75
