With over 25 years of experience in the health care insurance industry, I have helped agents and providers scale and build their business using unique, innovative approaches to distribution. My leadership roles with health plans, brokerage distribution and provider groups give me a perspective of the industry from end-to-end, inside and out…a complete 360 degree view of how insurance is sold.I’ve worked with well-known companies such as HealthNet of California, PacifiCare /Secure Horizons, and AppleCare Medical Management. At every juncture, I’ve always successfully found new ways to create value for others. I was responsible for building AppleCare Insurance Services/Golden Outlook, one of the first provider sponsored FMOs. Under my leadership, the company expanded to over 10 states with 2,000 agents generating over 20,000 Medicare enrollments annually.As President of Alignment Health Advisors, I opened the Eastern markets using a first-of-its-kind partnering approach to health insurance distribution. During this time, I learned the benefits of population health and value-based care.In 2017 I started TeamUP Insurance Services as my heart has always been in the FMO arena. TeamUP was acquired by HealthMarkets, and today I am responsible for Excelsior Insurance Benefits which is the brokerage arm of HealthMarkets. My experience in provider engagement, sales, and health plan management is the foundation I rely on to support and position agents for growth.
