In my current role as Program Administrator of Technology & Innovation for SFUSD in the Department of Technology, I support the development, implementation, and support of our 1:1 Technology initiatives in the district. In this role I support school site administrators and teachers to integrate technology and key pedagogies to help transform the learning experience for students and serve to help SFUSD achieve our Vision 2025 outcomes for students.

In this role working on the LEAD (Leadership, Equity, Achievement & Design) team, as Program Administrator for PK-8/Middle Schools I supported all of our 21 PK-8 & Middle School site administrators with the implementation of Digital Technology & Professional Development. A key focus area for the 2015-16 school year was to implement additional Digital Citizenship Curriculum in collaboration with Common Sense Media and to support schools piloting a new PK-8 Computer Science curriculum for students.

In this role I Implemented and supervised a multimillion-dollar STEM grant from Salesforce.com Foundation via Mayor Ed Lee’s Middle Grades Leadership Initiative to infuse technology into SFUSD’s STEM Programs. In support of this goal, I managed a team of STEM Technology Integration Specialists who provided 1-1 coaching and support to a cohort of teachers charged with infusing technology into STEM curriculum. I also prepared quarterly grant reports for Salesforce.com Foundation Funders, SFUSD Superintendent’s Executive Leadership Team, and Mayor Ed Lee’s office.

In this role, I worked in the Curriculum & Instruction Division in the Educational Technology Department to support all curriculum areas with the integration of technology. I also designed, developed, and delivered professional development workshops with a key focus on supporting educators to use iPads in the classroom.
