Responsible with executing the companies long term growth objectives by guiding a team of research scientists to discover and evaluate new technologies with maximum velocity. In addition I am tasked with maintaining our test lab and expanding our capabilities year over year to provide more product insights to engineering teams.

My role supported the next generation of light weight trailer panels. I managed the development of a new production line and material system from a process engineering and design engineering prospective. In less then a year I was able to take a new process from coupon level testing to 53' trailer prototyping using a new composite material system and production method. I gained experience as a project manager, material coordinator, six sigma black belt, supervisor, and design engineer.

As a production quality engineer I was responsible for dispositions of non-conforming material on the shop floor and defect analysis. I worked with product engineering to develop SPC controls and evaluation of process capability. I lead multiple root cause corrective action investigations to improve roll through first pass yield internally and with outside suppliers. In addition I lead the introduction of the GE9X nozzle from low volume to high volume production completing first article inspections, advanced product quality planning (APQP), and FAA documentation for certification engines for the GE9X program.

As a Designer in the composites lean lab I was responsible for creating conceptual engineering models and drawings for composite components that would be used for analysis, design verification, manufacturing, and inspection. My focus was on the automation of composite part generation and creating a single model that contained lay up information, CMM inspection paths and machining pathsI worked primarily on Polymer Matrix Composite structures. I worked very closely with manufacturing labs laying up the parts and had the opportunity to gain a lot of hands on experience in the process. I worked with hand laid up parts, but also had the chance to learn about auto fiber placement during my role. I helped manage laser projection and ply placement files that encompassed over 1800 individual plies to create a single structure.

I was a Resident Assistant (RA) at the University of Cincinnati for 2 years. I was responsible for 60-120 students that lived on my floor, the number varied throughout the years that I was there. I was responsible for enforcing University Policy and also providing guidance to new students. I put on events that allowed residents to meet each-other and feel more at home in the Residence Hall. I also acted as a peer mediator when conflict would arise with roommates, or anywhere in the hall. I was trained by the University in the areas of conflict management, diversity, and fire safety. I sponsored a physics and mathematics tutoring table where kids could come to receive help from me in those areas.
