Development of shelf-stable, orally delivered, vaccines for Influenza, COVID19, and other illnesses. Esperovax has developed a proprietary method for bioengineering probiotic yeast to deliver continuous and high concentrations of vaccine antigen in the gut. These antigens are delivered in the form of enveloped virus like particles (eVLPs) right to the lymphoid tissue (payers patches) of the gut mucosa, inducing strong immune protection. In-situ, Virus-Like Particle (VLP) delivery holds promise to greatly speed vaccine production and reduce the cost of each dose.

Generate new ideas to create, design, and develop innovative assay kits as new products within the Biomedical R&D team. With hundreds of assay kits in a variety of formats to choose from, Cayman offers complete solutions to quickly monitor biomarkers, assess cellular health, and measure enzyme activity/inhibition. Each of our assay kits undergoes rigorous quality testing to certify high precision and accuracy to deliver the sensitivity and specificity needed to detect biologically significant analyte levels. My job was to create novel assays that filled an unmet need in the biomedical research community to add to the catalog. The mission of the Perinatology Research Branch is to conduct clinical and basic research in perinatal medicine and related disciplines with the goal of developing novel diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive strategies to reduce adverse pregnancy outcome, infant mortality and handicap as well as to provide research training for physicians, scientists and other health care professionals whose aim is to improve the health care of mothers and their children.Being part of the Perinatology Research Branch provides everyone here the unique opportunity to improve their own lives by improving the lives of others. We get to do this in an intellectually stimulating environment, working with state-of-the-art technology. This is why we regard our work to be not merely a job, or even just a career. Yale Center for Molecular Discovery created at West Campus - The Yale Center for Molecular Discovery (YCDM) consolidates two West Campus technology cores — the Center for High Throughput Cell Biology and the Small Molecule Discovery Center. The new center’s mission is to blend basic and applied scientific approaches to accelerate early-stage drug discovery. By analyzing complex processes within cells, researchers across many disciplines will work to identify opportunities to improve the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease. The center will be staffed with individuals with experience in both academia and industry, who together will work to bridge the traditional divide between corporations and university scientists. This communication is expected to increase flexibility in development of drugs and their commercialization. The center has helped spur early-stage drug development by helping to give members across the Yale research community the tools they need to take their discoveries to the next stage.
