Recently:I worked on a Starz production as a full time Set Production Assistant.Previously:I cut commercials, web videos and branded content for both Full Lock Media and the WITH Agency and even developed new skills in color grading, sound mixing and graphic animation. I also had the privilege of helping students grasp the industry standard editing software, Avid Media Composer. While teaching them the technical and creative aspects of post-production, I exercised my own knowledge of the program developed more interpersonal and leadership skills.I was a martial artist for 14 years, ending my Tae Kwon Do career as a 3rd Degree Black Belt, Full-Level Instructor and Demo Team Leader. I then worked for and obtained my Bachelor's Degree from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. While there, I wrote, directed and edited multiple short films one of which, "I Walk With My Brother," was accepted to the 2015 Hoboken International Film Festival. In addition, I interned for and was later hired by Grey Sky Films where I worked as a Production Assistant on multiple projects.After moving to Virginia with my family, I became the Social Media Manager for the Blacksburg branch of Alumni Hall. I also worked in Real Estate Videography. In 2017, I decided to work for my Master's Degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, GA. During those two and a half years, I gained experience in creating short form media, music videos, sizzle reels and branded content. During this time, I became an Avid Certified User and only a short while later I became an Avid Certified Instructor. I served as a Teaching Assistant at Georgia Film Academy and then earned two classes of my own while still working for my MFA.I graduated from SCAD in November 2019 and continued to teach Avid Media Composer 101-110 at GFA for two years.Going Forward:I will continue to pursue roles in camera and post production. I will also edit, direct, write and more for clients, peers and personal growth. I will contribute all I've learned to any job I earn and welcome new lessons and challenges that lie ahead.
