With over 25 years of experience in procurement, innovation, and strategy, I am a passionate and driven executive manager at Westpac, Australia's oldest and largest bank. I am responsible for supplier operations and governance across diverse categories, such as travel, fleet, mailroom, promo, and cheques. My core competencies include process improvement, new business development, and key account management. My mission is to deliver value, efficiency, and sustainability for Westpac and its stakeholders, while fostering a culture of collaboration, diversity, and innovation within my team and across the organization. In my current role, I report to the PPP Chief Operating Officer and manage a team of 15 direct and indirect reports. I have successfully implemented several initiatives to optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. For example, I led the development and execution of a new fleet strategy that resulted in a 15% reduction in carbon emissions, a 10% increase in driver safety, and a 5% saving in total cost of ownership. I have also partnered with internal and external stakeholders to identify and leverage opportunities for innovation, such as introducing a digital mailroom solution, a paperless cheque system, and a travel booking platform. I am always looking for ways to enhance my skills and knowledge, and I have completed a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University, with a focus on innovation, strategy, and finance, as well as a certification in project management from the Institute of Project Management.
