Successful, timely project completions have quickly led to repeat business. Project successes include solar canopy projects and authoring a Bridge Management Program. Ongoing projects include a parking lot expansion in Chandler, a subdivision and a railway project in North Dakota.

Provided senior level design knowledge and team management skills for public works and land development projects throughout Clark County, Nevada. Involved with entitlements through construction documents for public sector projects at UNLV, McCarran Airport and the city of North Las Vegas. Private sector projects included concept planning for a 600 acre master planned community, design documents for a10 acre hillside subdivision, a commercial expansion, an In-N-Out Burger infill project and a Nevada Power plant repaving project. Recalled by the company for a temporary peak-load, deadline driven assignment allowed me the opportunity of providing design expertise to several government projects relating to roadway, infrastructure design and anti-terrorist upgrades in the United Arab Emirates.

Worked with senior management to build a Land Development Division. Pioneered a work share program on a 25 acre subdivision with a half mile roadway extension at Cinco Ranch in Houston, Texas for Newland Communities. Included all work from site grading to production deliverables. Controlled budgets, schedule and quality review process. Managed 1 mile of offsite roadway design in Riverside, California in a similar work share environment.

Developing relationships with clients, owners, builders and local agencies using a process oriented approach to insure successful design, review and approval. Completing the design cycle by problem solving, and communicating with survey and construction teams. Leading internal quality control by implementing a training program to improve team knowledge and product quality.

Transitioned my career to land development as a Senior Designer focusing mostly on single family residential subdivisions and infrastructure design in the Summerlin master planned community. Activities included site layout, grading, drainage, utility and street design and plot plan production. Supporting multiple Project Engineers with responsibility for quality design and meeting schedules by managing design and drafting personnel.
