  Responsible for cataloging historical newspapers, automobile manuals and bank ledgers from the 1880’s. Performed data entry pertaining to the museum’s artifacts and archival material using the museum collection management software, Past Perfect. Edited and described old automobile advertisements using Photoshop. Other duties included performing research assignments and helping to get objects to the exhibit, updating and transferring old exhibits to new storage media, inventorying historical objects and archival material ready for accession and deaccession, refilled and filed documents. Cross- referenced material for researchers. .Performed basic preservation upkeep to objects and archival material. Also with assistance of collections manager identify preservation needs for objects and archival collection and also wrote some condition reports. Worked closely with the registrar on paperwork and loans. .Enforced museum archives regulations, American Association Museum Collections Standards, help with Pest Control Management Responded to research inquiries and responded to written requests. Helped handled, catalog and preserved housekeeping objects such as books, textiles and metals. Help maintain the exhibit and other areas of the museum. Did front desk duties such as . Answered phone calls and help with visitors with their research requests. Gave Visitors a short welcome . Guided visitors to brochures.
