* Practice consisted primarily of ICBC Defense, including a high number of files with more complex and unusual issues including debilitating post-traumatic stress, fraud, traumatic brain injury, and numerous multi-accident files. * When hired in April 2008, immediately took over the firm’s long-standing FMP Contract with the Attorney General which was in jeopardy and restored the firm’s reputation as effective and efficient counsel. * Other areas of litigation included private family files, real estate, and other commercial litigation. * As the only lawyer in the firm with a background in many areas of solicitor’s work, was also responsible for the majority of that work including conveyancing, statutory declarations, wills, etc.

* Hired to replace two associates and started with a file load of 100+ litigation files, primarily ICBC Defense, many in some state of neglect or disarray.* Other areas included Plaintiff Personal Injury, construction & builders liens, employment and family law.* Also responsible for the majority of the routine solicitors work including conveyancing, statutory declarations, and other small jobs for regular clients.

* Assisted lawyers with all aspects of file work including attending various chambers applications. * Juniored two trials and attended at several mediations, examinations for discovery, and video depositions.

* Responsible for all aspects of administration of the Conflict Resolution Society, a not-for-profit dispute resolution service provider.* Was asked to act as a teaching assistant and be involved in the development of an online course in the negotiation of contracts via various electronic media.
