I'm passionate about railways and the development of sustainable cities with integrated transport systems. Always keen to apply my track design skills, I’ve been fortunate to work on a range of exciting multidisciplinary projects. I enjoy working on projects at all stages of the asset lifecycle, using my technical knowledge to shape our rail infrastructure. I began to develop my technical track deign skills whilst completing my degree, graduating with First Class Honours and the University Medal in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). I was able to follow my interest in rail at university by completing my final-year thesis project on the White Triangle signals used on Sydney's Light Rail system, which received the Railway Technical Society of Australasia (RTSA) Student Thesis Award. I’ve completed a number of junction renewal designs, transit space assessments and platform coping designs for different rail operators and private clients. Having the opportunity to work at Definition, Concept and Detailed Design project stages, I’ve had the chance to apply my permanent way knowledge to interface with multidisciplinary teams and shape design decisions. Recently I have also taken on the role of GHD’s Key Client Coordinator for Sydney Trains, sharing my rail knowledge to provide key insights to others working in the rail environment.
