I am currently serving in the Army Reserves with the Royal Anglian Regiment.In 2015 I have been deployed three times with my Regular colleagues where I spent four months from April - August attached to 1st Royal Regiment of Fusiliers for a Major armoured exercise in Canada which I was a Dismount for the Warrior tank.In September I was deployed on exercise with my own battalion to Slovenia to do Mountain Warfare where I was second in command of a 12 man section.At the end of 2015 in mid December to February 2016 I was on attachment to 1st Dukes of Yorks on a Major exercise in the UK to assist the exercise simulating staff to set off battle simulations

Throughout my time as a porter/security officer at the James Paget Hospital my duties varied from security patrols around the hospital and assisting medical staff with mentally challenging patients, If we had a prisoner in with prison officers we would escort them and assist the officers, plus in Accident and Emergency a constant security presents had to be made where we would have to deal with numerous situations from violence and aggression towards staff to the weekend over drinkers and mentally/suicidal patients.Also my duties involved transferring patients from different wards to clinics with private and confident patients medical files, keeping to patients appointment timings, changing medical oxygen/gas cylinders in various wards and clinics, In the events of a fire alarm we would cordon off the hospital and escort and assist the fire service to the location of the fire.
