• Initial full-stack design and development of Oncospace’s cloud-native (Azure), web-based, data-driven radiotherapy Predictive Planning system. Designed Oncospace COSMOS NoSQL data model for machine learning. Design and development of client/server interface between Oncospace cloud-based function apps and customer clinical radiation oncology systems. Wrote JavaScript (Angular) UI website code, Python applications, C# API interfaces, and designed COSMOS document data contracts in C# and TypeScript.• Recruited, on-boarded, and trained 5 full-time employees and 5 interns. Mentored, managed and reviewed the performance of the FTEs. As Oncospace’s Privacy Officer, implemented and monitored employee compliance with the company’s information security and HIPAA training and awareness program. As Oncospace’s Business Continuity Officer, contributed strategy and contingency review for Oncospace’s detection and response to service interruption scenarios.• Principal Investigator on Oncospace’s National Science Foundation SBIR award, Phase I (1913081, $250,000) and II (2035750, $1,000,000), and supplemental awards ($124,000). Proposal writing, budget management, and grant reporting functions, and management of sub-award contracts.• Identified emerging market opportunity in radiotherapy clinics’ need to access historical treatment information for returning patients. Initial design and development of a C# application (Oncospace Gateway) to recover and modernize archived treatment plan data to support retreatment. Application has generated over $700K in revenue for Oncospace in 2024. • Product management for Gateway and Predictive Planning, including product strategy and roadmap, sales support, demonstration of Oncospace system at industry conferences, and handling product support and user feedback in customer clinics.

• Designed and developed full-stack software for the JH Department of Radiation Oncology to capture, store, and leverage the data generated through the radiation oncology treatment experience, for use in improving treatment planning, decision support, and research in radiotherapy practice. Built database-driven web UI forms for doctors to capture clinical assessments on mobile devices during patient consultations, to store with the patient’s medical record. C# ASP.Net and REST API, SQL Server database, Python, and HTML/CSS Web UI design and development.• Produced code to capture lab values from a patient’s EMR into the centralized Oncology Information System database. Collected tens of thousands of toxicity assessments from patient encounters to research correlation of dose distribution to occurrence of radiotoxicity.• Produced a system to detect and alert clinical trial nurses to adverse events among trial patients to alert potential changes to subjects’ continued trial eligibility. Built a C# REST API to receive and record remote health metric readings from medical devices worn by patients outside the JH clinic, and a web-based dashboard to present real-time dashboards of patients’ state to their attending physicians.• Managed the Oncospace Consortium, a world-wide group of cancer centers to promote research into the improvement of radiotherapy practice on the Oncospace model. Provided technical assistance, managed collaboration and wrote C++ installers to create local instances of the Oncospace data store for collaborating institutions. Implemented a website that presented data queried across consortium institutions for comparative studies of dose sparing preferences.• Contributed to 25 department and consortium publications.

• Development of CIS Computational Anatomy (CA) "Software as a Service" infrastructure. Led, mentored, and provided technical guidance to a team of CIS faculty, doctoral candidates, and post-docs, to pull together CA modules into seamless pipelines on massively parallel computing resources. Built CIS’s Multi-Atlas Brain Image Segmentation pipeline. This publicly accessible pipeline has completed thousands of segmentations since coming on-line in 2012.• Created CIS’s Shape Analysis pipeline, a python coded executive function to manage key Computational Anatomy processing steps. Set up a python and VTK environment on the target computational cluster. Produced a python GUI client for researchers to remotely submit their requests.• Produced C++ components of CIS’s Shape Analysis processing, based on the Insight Tool Kit (ITK). Coauthored submissions of the source code to the Insight Journal for a Laplace Beltrami Filter on QuadEdge Meshes (http://hdl.handle.net/10380/3323) and Principal Components Analysis of Scalar, Vector, and Mesh Vertex Data (http://hdl.handle.net/10380/3386).
