United States Army, Texas Army National Guard AGR- Fort Worth, TX 06/2014 to 09/2016 Director of Medical Operations •Trained and made fully available a Staff of 400 medical personnel, within five regions throughout Texas on emergency/ disaster management in support of local, state, and national disasters.•Responsible for the training and implementation of a mobile field hospital with surgery, lab, dental and x-ray capability, the first every established and fully functional in United States Army National Guard. Capable of echelon II care complete with medical evacuation capability thru ground and air. •Designed and implement an Emergency Medical Training and Recertification plan, responsible for 99.1% recertification of 240 EMT’s, up 24.5%; best average in Texas, second nationally over a 3-year period. •Budgeted and allocated $880,000 per year for medical supplies for 6 subordinate companies responsible for medical supply chain management and movement to 6 locations throughout the state of Texas.•Provided strategic vision, planning and operational leadership diagnosing gaps in healthcare; developing action plans mitigating risk enabling the Commander (CEO) to focus on other pressing issues. •Conducted over 1200 Line of Duty investigations, enabling Soldiers to receive over 1.3 million dollars in worker compensation (INCAP) over a 4-year period. •Responsible for insurance, medical care, and wellness for 4257 personnel, during tenure boasted the best medical deployable rate of 98%, far exceeding the national average.
