The key challenge for every man is to break free of the cultural indoctrination of patriarchy and take leadership in fostering positive change.My experience of working with men has led me to believe that there are particular and vital issues related to masculinity which remain unaddressed in mainstream education and seldom acknowledged in our culture. These contribute directly to excess violence, depression, irresponsibility and unbounded egotism in men with a consequent impact on society. I have a particular interest in establishing a Rites of Passage centre for young men as an alternative to prison. Show less
