Lighting Design and Technical Duties relating to the projects and products of Kellwood LED Lighting.

Hetland Garden Centre currently holds the title of Best Garden Centre in Scotlandand is renowned in the South of Scotland and North of England for its Tea Roomand recently added Dino Park attraction. Having been employed by this companysince the age of 15, and returning to work there whenever possible, I havewitnessed the company grow and enjoyed the increase in responsibility that thishas provided.In the beginning, my main responsibilities were helping customers load their carswith heavy goods such as furniture, ornaments and composts. Over time my dutiesexpanded to arranging displays in the shop front, dealing with customer queries,packing/unpacking orders and loading deliveries from the warehouse. The GardenCentre also won an award over the festive period for the Best Grotto in Scotland. Iwas responsible for some of the lighting and tree displays that helped win thisaward.During my time with this company, I also worked in the Tea Room as a CateringAssistant. My initial tasks were dish washing, clearing tables and serving food.Over time this progressed to food preparation, making side plates, servingbeverages and taking payments. Having worked there for almost 8 years, I nowtake stock checks and cook meals when the chefs are overly-busy or when theyfinish their shift.The many years I have enjoyed with this company have allowed me to build arapport with both the customers and fellow employees and developed many skillsthat have allowed me to grow as a person.These include:•Working closely with other staff•Making Independent Decisions•Dealing with Criticism•Effective Time Management
