Michael Bozyk (MILS) Librarian: As a Librarian for 26 years I have had the opportunity to help/work in an academic library (intern), a special library (FilmRoos), and mostly public libraries. While working as a Library Page in 1990 I earned my Masters in Information and Library Science degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1991. My specialty is Public Libraries. I have worked in many areas of the public library system. My greatest interest is Adult Services though as a Public Librarian I am knowledgeable of all areas including serving as a Children's/YA Librarian for six years. In addition I have worked full-time and part-time simultaneously as a Librarian for 14 years. During my Professional work I have assisted in libraries 25,000 to 80,000 square feet with Collection Development, Public Outreach, Adult and Children's/Young Adult Programming, Reader's Advisory, Promotion, Bibliographic Instruction, Staff Training, Summer Reading Programs, One Story One City events, book clubs, computer/technology instruction, Scheduling, Supervising, etc. in order to help meet the mission of the city and library. My various knowledge, skills, years of experience, strength in customer service and abilities as a Professional allows me to help libraries and the communities and people we serve in a profession I love.
