Installation, training and phone support on a wide range of computer controlled equipment. Including Cad Cam Design Tables, Rule Processors, Counter Cutters, Flat Lasers and Rotary Lasers. Duties included on site installation, training and service of all equipment worldwide. Trained new technicians to assemble, maintain and trouble shoot all lines of equipment. Also setup a format to follow for training customers. This involved in house and in the field training. In house and in the field training included ECO and MCO updates and upgrades. Also software upgrades for DOS and Windows Programs. Including maintenance on all lines. In house service repairs on computers and assemblies. Phone support for software, technical and operating instruction provided on a daily basis for customers and technicians. Designating the right parts and procedures for repairing the equipment. Also wrote procedures and drew diagrams for replacing complex parts. Helped setup site preparation instruction and diagrams for all lines. These include electrical and air specifications, drawings on physical size with dimensions and capabilities of the equipment. Answered any questions or concerns from customers and their electricians, plumbers (coolant for lasers) and maintenance staff. Also helped design and build a CNC Vertical Miller to fabricate large parts for production of all machines.

Burlington Ma

Supervised and trained employees to assemble screen printers for the surface mount industry, including electrical, pneumatic and mechanical assemblies for close tolerance, high-tech Surface Mount equipment. Programmed TI controllers for several units. Traveled to customer sites to provide technical support and service. Resolved problems by redesigning electrical and mechanical equipment and initiating ECO’s and MCO’s. Designed new mechanical and electrical equipment, working directly with customer’s individual needs. As Project Manager for a team of three professionals, designed and built a special Screen Printer, utilizing rail-fed, break-away-mast, and containing an x-y head for maximum dimensional movement. Company had immediate order for a minimum of 25 units. Drew schematics and procured all electrical, electronic and mechanical parts. Contributed the electrical design and layout of an MPC-29 fully customized Screen Printer-with company sales at 12 to 15 units per year at $50 thousand dollars plus per unit. Received multiple bonuses for superior quality workmanship equaling thousands of dollars.

Woburn Ma

Supervised two group leaders and nineteen employees for this manufacturer of ATM’s and other electronic transaction terminals. Responsible for hiring, training and all aspects of overseeing the assembly process to completion. Consistently met all production quotas and deadlines.

Worked on the design and manufacture of high-tech electronic assemblies for state of the art medical equipment, including cat-scan, multiformatters, echo-viewers, micro-viewers and heart rate monitors.
