Experienced professional in product development and marketing, including programs such as market analysis, product strategy, business plans, product requirements, collateral materials, presentations, and training.Mission critical systems have been my primary focus. As a graduate engineer I automated semiconductor factories at National Semiconductor and Hewlett Packard. I joined a startup team (Asyst Technologies) to develop and market products based on disruptive SMIF technology. As Engineering Director I pioneered new methods of factory automation including the SMART-Traveler system which was awarded the 1995 Best Product Award by Semiconductor International magazine. I moved into marketing and evangelized the new technology. We won over 95% market share, changing how wafers are made, and grew to a public company with >$500M in revenues. My marketing roles included VP, Solutions Marketing and General Manager of Connectivity Products, the company’s most profitable division. I established and operated sales, service and engineering operations in the US, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, China, and India. As Vice President, Marketing and Technology at Aquest, I led the development of disruptive transportation technology, and won three strategic customers.
