Home Service Specialist II: Jan 2012-Jan 2014Process mortgage applications from start to finish. Maintain consistent contact with client to ensure Loan is processed and underwritten in timely fashion. Responsible for review and approval of most documents. Became a “Subject Matter Expert” and was sent for 3 months to train another site. I facilitated education prior to going live with applications to process. Trained and assisted associates from start to finish with the loan application process. Including: loan set up to prepare list of documents needed and welcome packages, trained processors from start to finish with their welcome call, document collection and closing. I assisted underwriter trainees to better understand the processors position and responsibilities. Helped train team leads (TL's) on the full mortgage process and understanding their roles in submitting complete applications to be approved for closing. Also provided TL's with progress reports of their associates strengths and weaknesses. I was able to successfully help train and transition 100+ credit card call center associates into mortgage processors, underwriters and closers.
