I am a Board Director, Managing Director, and governance & risk advisor working with ASX, public sector and private sector clients to determine, evaluate and implement capital management and structures, strategy and funding solutions. With over fifteen years of board-level experience across a wide range of commercial sectors, including government and regulated markets, I focus on building strong understanding and communication of and within the business, its stakeholders and markets. In an executive capacity applying my experience as a professional engineer, I also work with start-up technology focussed businesses with unique product and value offerings to assist in developing commercialisation and business strategy plans to best enable access to necessary capital and funding sources. I am currently Managing Director of Norwell Capital Partners Pty Ltd. Here I have worked with Hills Limited as a commercial and financial advisor on a number of M&A strategy developments and implementations, and in resetting and refinancing their core $300m debt funding needs. Also I had board and executive advisor roles with a number of public and private companies, overseeing transactions with a cumulative value of $2 billion. Previously I have held positions at the Australian National University. Prior to that PwC where I authored an independent review and key risk management policy recommendations for the ongoing capital structure of the firm in Australia. Also KPMG where I jointly established and developed the CMA practice. The practice was grown to 13 professionals across Melbourne and Sydney within 3 years. Lastly, Deutsche Bank Group where I established and developed Structured Capital Markets offering in the Japanese market having built up a leading domestic non-vanilla capital markets business in Australia and New Zealand. I structure, arrange, negotiate and access fit for purpose capital and funding solutions.Finally, I have a Master of Business (Applied Finance), I am a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, a Senior Certified Finance and Treasury Professional of the Finance & Treasury Association, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and have completed the AICD’s Company Directors Course.
