Leading the product development and manufacturing strategy of high temperature textiles and composites for heavy industries, consumer goods, and heat management applications.

Responsible for both the co-location of Tier 1 suppliers to Gigafactory 1 and the production ramp of Tesla’s automated manufacturing processes for Model 3 battery systems.

Responsible for developing multi-site manufacturing supply plan for two domestic sites as well as the manufacturing plan and intercompany shipments to China and Korea. Collaborated with manufacturing leaders to transition from de-centralized planning process to a centralized Supply Plan. Developed planning tools and processes that forecast raw material, consumables, and packaging. Utilized historical order patterns combined with sales forecast and set-up cost to develop batch size and schedule.

Engineering Manager responsible for all Engineering at greeenfield start-up including Process Engineering, Project Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities. As part of the plant leadership team we worked cross-functionally to develop the culture, processes, and values necessary to operate the new manufacturing site.Directly responsible for leading a team of all new-hires through a very challenging 18-month long start-up of the world’s largest battery separator manufacturing facility. Identified and overcame issues related to the new manufacturing processes and through our efforts we achieved capabilities 1.5 - 2x the original intent.

Responsible for the Maintenance of three business units located at the Charlotte campus. Led a team of mechanical, electrical, and software technicians to support 24-7 operations, continuous improvement, and growth initiatives. In this role I focused on revampimg and improving our PM and PdM programs; identifing and prioritizing high impact, recurring failures; and ensuring the success of the team through proper processes, tools, and training.
