Working as manager of several teams focusing on data analysis and diagnostics at Airbus Defence and Space. In our high-tech environment there are always extensive challenges to master and above all our aircraft generate a lot of data.As a studied computer scientist I started my career in the SAP-PLM & NetWeaver Portal environment. My next stop is Airbus, where I worked for many years as software developer, lead engineer and project manager. In the meantime I have been working with data-based diagnostics for 10 years.In 2016 I had my first contact with Advanced Analytics & Big Data. We accelerated an existing algorithm by a factor of 16000 using horizontal scaling & optimization. Since then I believe that these technologies will have an impact everywhere.
